Will Lawson avoid Verstappen crushing fate at Red Bull?

Liam Lawson has the most daunting job in the 2025 F1 season – to try and get close to Max Verstappen. 

Verstappen has already ended the Red Bull careers of Daniel Ricciardo, Pierre Gasly, Alex Albon and, in the case of Sergio Perez, his F1 career through his relentless dominance and ability to churn out victory after victory.

Lawson, after just 11 grand prix starts, will be paired with the now-four-time world champion in 2025, with boss Christian Horner sure Lawson’s mental toughness could help him in the battle against Verstappen.
