Max Verstappen has declared he has no weaknesses left to iron out after clinching another F1 title last year.

The Dutchman secured his fourth consecutive championship in 2024, further cementing his name amongst the most successful drivers in F1 history.

Red Bull endured a difficult campaign as it slipped to third in the constructors’ championship in a year rival teams moved up a gear and challenged at the front of the grid.

Despite the pressure the team was placed under, Verstappen prevailed ahead of Lando Norris for the drivers’ title.

With another championship in his pocket, the 27-year-old asserted he is driving as well as he has ever done in F1.

“I don’t feel like I have weaknesses,” Verstappen told F1.com. “And of course, I will never admit it anyway!

“But I’m also very open-minded because I know I can always be better, but I also know it’s very hard.”

Verstappen outlines crucial element to performance

Verstappen outlined the greatest challenge facing drivers is chasing consistency rather than enjoying a strong solitary weekend.

“I know over a single weekend people can have unbelievable performances, but it’s not always about a single performance,” he said.

“It’s about how you can keep very good performance the whole year.

“That has to do with a lot of stuff. I don’t want to go into too much detail, as I’m of course giving away stuff in a way.

“As a driver, you have to be on top of your game every single time.

“You need to find what works for you because every single driver is different in their approach.

”But you do have to understand what works for you, I think I understood that very well.”
