Max Verstappen has admitted talks with Aston Martin have taken place – but not over a potential F1 drive.

The four-time world champion was linked with a billion-dollar move to the Silverstone-based squad, but this was quickly squashed by Aston Martin, who insisted that race drivers Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll were signed on long-term contracts.

Every 2025 F1 car and livery

The F1 75 launch event has concluded, with all of the 10 liveries for the 2025 season launched.

While some have remained relatively similar to last year, other colour schemes have received a major switch-up.

Red Bull fired Verstappen ‘right team’ warning

Max Verstappen must consider if Red Bull is still the “right team” in F1 unless it can return to its “former strength”, Gerhard Berger has claimed.

The 10-time grand prix winner, who raced in F1 from 1984 until 1997, believes there is “no question” the Dutchman is the best driver in the championship, but is excited to see if the Milton Keynes squad can return to the pedestal upon which it once sat.

Russell makes Dutch emails revelation after Verstappen feud

George Russell has revealed members of his team received emails from Dutch F1 fans in the midst of his feud with Max Verstappen late last season.

The British driver said he was aware of a “lot of criticism out there” at the time, suggesting the emails were abusive in tone.

Verstappen makes shocking F1 competition claim

Max Verstappen has declared he often finds competition in sim racing to be more difficult than F1.

Verstappen is known to be an avid sim racer and spends some of his free time at home on his simulator, taking part in virtual races.

Marko delivers latest Verstappen Red Bull exit update

Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko has insisted that rumours of Max Verstappen potentially leaving the team after next year is “all speculation”. 

Verstappen has been linked several times with an exit from the Milton Keynes-based outfit, with the current reason being concerns over Red Bull’s car for 2026.
