Helmut Marko has been left in no doubt Red Bull faces a fight on its hands after labelling McLaren as favourites for this season’s F1 championships following pre-season testing.
Red Bull encountered a tricky three days of testing at the Bahrain International Circuit last week, including issues with the RB21 that confined Liam Lawson and Max Verstappen to the garage for periods on Thursday and Friday respectively.

How British GP shocker crushed Ricciardo bid to replace Perez
Daniel Ricciardo was on the verge of replacing Sergio Perez at Red Bull before a poor performance in the British GP scuppered his chance, the latest season of Drive to Survive has revealed.
As Perez’s alarming slump in form showed no signs of improvement as F1 headed towards the 2024 summer break, Racing Bulls driver Ricciardo was linked as a possible replacement if Red Bull opted to axe the Mexican racer.

New F1 controversy sees FIA launch rear-wing scrutiny
F1 teams are set to be subject to stricter scrutiny over their rear wings at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix later this month.
The action comes after concerns were raised at pre-season testing in Bahrain.
