The Spanish racer took the new FW47 machine for its first on-track running at a cold Silverstone, completing two laps on-board the car he will drive alongside Alex Albon.
After moving from Ferrari, some of Sainz’s personal sponsors have followed the four-time grand prix winner, including Santander, which featured in a prominent place on the special testing livery Williams introduced their car in.
The actual 2025 livery will break cover at the F1 75 launch event at London’s O2 on Tuesday, but on February 14th – Valentine’s Day – Sainz and an old love have got back together.
Prior to joining Ferrari, Sainz had a long-term sponsorship deal with Estella Galicia, a Spanish beer.
However, this deal could not continue at Ferrari, with that team having an arrangement with Peroni, with Sainz’s Estrella Galicia deal being put into abeyance for his spell at Maranello.
After leaving after Lewis Hamilton took his seat for 2025, Sainz and Estrella Galicia are now back together…
