Ocon triggers early Azerbaijan FP3 red flag

A problem for Esteban Ocon’s Alpine triggered an early red flag in third practice, ahead of this weekend’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix. 

The Frenchman lost power as he approached Turn 16, before coming to a complete halt prior to the final high-speed corners. 

45 minutes remained on the clock when the red flag was flown, in what was a timid start to the day in Baku. 

A damp Baku City Circuit resulted in minimal running across the opening 15 minutes, before some drivers opted to explore the conditions as Ocon came to a stop.
