Just weeks after the FIA announced it was going to heavily penalise drivers when they swear, it emerged during Formula E’s recent Saudi Arabian weekend that swearing over team radio does not attract a penalty. Liam Lawson commented on the FIA’s swearing ban, saying that he was glad drivers wouldn’t be punished in the car. Still, he explained that drivers should control their language outside of a racing situation.
