Leclerc reveals Ferrari motivation after witnessing opening-day Hamilton hype

Charles Leclerc has revealed that the hype around Ferrari caused by Lewis Hamilton’s arrival is “motivating” for the 27-year-old, following a day of testing at its Fiorano Circuit.

Hamilton completed 30 laps in Ferrari’s 2023 SF-23 in foggy conditions on Wednesday morning, before Leclerc got into the cockpit for 14 laps during a very wet afternoon.

Vasseur explains ‘sole purpose’ of Hamilton Ferrari debut

Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur has explained the “sole purpose” of Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari debut at its Fiorano Circuit on Wednesday. 

The seven-time world champion, wearing a Ferrari race suit and his new helmet, completed 30 laps behind the wheel of the team’s 2023 SF-23.
