How soon will Hamilton claim first Ferrari F1 win?

Lewis Hamilton is being touted by many as a potential candidate for the F1 drivers’ title this year, but he must achieve something else first. 

In order to be a serious title threat with Ferrari, the seven-time world champion will first need to claim a win with the Maranello-based outfit. 

Securing his first win in red is a huge milestone for Hamilton to complete, given it would improve his confidence and fuel further belief that an eighth crown is achievable. 

However, with an extremely competitive season being predicted, race victories are likely to be very tough to come by. 

As well as Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull and Mercedes are expected to start the 2025 season well next month in Australia.

For many in the paddock, Hamilton’s early progress with Ferrari is going to be watched very closely, in particular by rivals to judge if he is a serious title contender.
