Hamilton set for major F1 partnership change – report

Lewis Hamilton is reportedly set to end his long-term partnership with Monster Energy, to partner with its energy drink rival and Ferrari sponsor Celsius.

According to Sport Business, Hamilton’s personal sponsorship with Monster Energy will conclude, which started back in 2017.

Monster Energy has sponsored Mercedes since the Silver Arrows returned to the grid in 2010, before it started a personal deal in 2017 with Hamilton.

Since partnering with Monster Energy, drinks and specific flavours in Hamilton’s name have been released.

The deal coming to an end is reportedly due to the seven-time world champion’s move to Ferrari next season, whilst Monster Energy will also complete its own move to McLaren.

McLaren announced a deal with the brand at the start of this year, which starts at the beginning of the 2025.

As for Hamilton, he is reportedly set to partner with Celsius following the end of his Monster Energy deal.

Celsius has partnered Ferrari since 2023, before becoming a major sponsor this year for the Maranello-based team.

The brand becoming a full-time sponsor of the Italian outfit was announced just days after Hamilton’s move to Ferrari was revealed.

On Ferrari’s car and on the race suits of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, the Celsius logo was present, with the same expected should Hamilton finalise a personal partnership.
