Full starting grid for 2024 F1 Qatar Grand Prix sprint

Lando Norris will lead the F1 field away from the front of the grid when the F1 sprint gets underway on Saturday.

The McLaren driver narrowly edged out George Russell to the fastest lap on Friday night in Qatar, with Oscar Piastri and Carlos Sainz filling out the second row.

It was another disappointing season for Sergio Perez – the Mexican driver failed to advance out of SQ1.

Team-mate Max Verstappen, who clinched his fourth F1 title last time out in Las Vegas, will start from sixth, alongside the second Ferrari of Charles Leclerc.

Perez, as well as RB’s Yuki Tsunoda, are being investigated for exceeding the time limit between the safety car lines.

NOTE: Grid remains provisional until officially confirmed by the FIA.
