Ferrari announce split from long-time F1 partner

Ferrari has announced it will part ways with long-time sponsor Santander at the end of the current F1 campaign.

The bank company first linked up with Ferrari in 2010 and was a partner of the team until the end of 2017 when it cut ties with F1, having also previously held an association with McLaren.

However, it returned to the sport in 2022 on a three-year agreement with the Italain squad.

Santander has also supported Ferrari’s World Endurance Championship programme which saw the team win the previous two 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The Spanish company’s logos have featured prominently on its F1 cars during its association with Ferrari – however that will change in the 2025 season when the collaboration comes to a close.

“As our successful partnership with Santander comes to its end, we would like to express our gratitude for their dedication and collaboration during our journey together,” said Ferrari Chief Racing Revenue Officer Lorenzo Giorgetti.

“They have played an important role in contributing to our achievements over the past three years.”
