Lawson becomes a victim of online abuse after Perez dropped from Red Bull

With the announcement that Liam Lawson will be Max Verstappen’s team-mate at Red Bull Racing in 2025, New Zealanders will be excited to have a driver in a top seat on the grid. In Latin America and Japan, however, fans aren’t exactly happy. Sergio Perez and Yuki Tsunoda will not be driving for Red Bull. Of course, for very different reasons. Perez was dropped, whilst Tsunoda wasn’t picked by VCARB’s sister team. Lawson has now become a victim of online abuse as he has come under heavy fire on social media.
