It is approximately two months until the 2025 season in F1 gets underway, however, Max Verstappen will already be sim racing this weekend at the (virtual) Daytona International Speedway. Max Verstappen participated in the IMSA Esports Global Championship on Sunday night, representing Team Redline. The team was locked in a fierce battle with Williams Esports to win the championship title. However, Controversy arose early in the race when Verstappen was involved in a first-corner collision with the Williams car, sparking debate about the incident.

Max Verstappen feels that Dutch drivers are now taken much more seriously than before, although he still sees Formula 1 as an English-oriented sport. Along with this, he also sees that it is very difficult for novice drivers – of whatever origin – to realise their dreams. Verstappen hopes to help these drivers in his
