Following his departure from Red Bull Racing, Jonathan Wheatley is currently sitting at home enjoying his so-called gardening leave. According to earlier plans, the Briton was due to start as Sauber’s team boss on 1 July. However, The Race reports that the two teams have agreed on an earlier start for Wheatley at the Swiss.
Jonathan Wheatley’s time at Red Bull Racing has come to an end. The Sporting Director has celebrated his departure from Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez’s team after nineteen successful years with an Instagram post, thus closing the Red Bull of his career, before he starting a new one at Stake F1 Team as team principal.
