For Arvid Lindblad, the road to Formula 1 is completely open. The Red Bull Junior Team’s greatest talent has enough points, in theory, to attain a Super Licence after his title win in a New Zealand-based championship. Only thing left to prove now is that the young Briton (17) does indeed deserve a seat at Racing Bulls or perhaps even Red Bull Racing.

Arvid Lindblad is gearing up for a pivotal year in his racing career as he prepares to make his Formula 2 debut in 2025. The Red Bull Racing junior is widely regarded as a rising star, and many expect him to make the leap to Formula 1 soon. While he remains focused on his F2 campaign, speculation continues to grow about when he might get his first taste of F1 machinery.

Red Bull’s young star Arvid Lindblad has admitted that he has always idolised seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton. Although part of the Red Bull academy, the 17-year-old admits that he has always looked up to Hamilton throughout his motorsport journey, pointing out the fact that he could identify with his fellow Brit as a person of colour.

The start of winter testing is less than three weeks away, and with the impending livery reveal event in the O2 Arena in London, “F1 75”, the world of F1 is grinding its gears, slowly but surely, to the new F1 season set to start in little oveer a month. As usual, GPBlog brings you the best news of the day.

The 17-year-old Briton does not yet have a driving licence, but managed to get enough points for his Formula 1 super licence in New Zealand last weekend. Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko even called him the biggest talent within the Austrian’s junior team. Speaking to The Inside Line, Lindblad talked about his relationship with Marko and whether that brings extra pressure.
