Valtteri Bottas will jump behind the wheel of a Mercedes car at the Adelaide Motorsport Festival later this year.
The Finn has returned to the German manufacturer this season as a reserve driver following his exit from Stake at the conclusion of the 2024 campaign.
Bottas raced five F1 seasons with Mercedes from 2017 to 2021 before making the move to the Hinwil-based outfit.
As he carries out reserve duties at Mercedes, Bottas is eyeing a comeback to the grid in 2026.
However, while he embeds himself back into the Mercedes family, Bottas will jump behind the DTM Mercedes 190E in March.
The car has a history with racing, taking part in the Bathurst 1000 and the Group A support race at the Australian Grand Prix in Adelaide.
Bottas will join other F1-linked personalities at the festival, including Damon Hill, Alan Jones, Guenther Steiner, Thierry Boutsen and David Brabham.
The event takes place one week prior to the Australian Grand Prix from Melbourne, which opens the 2025 F1 world championship.
