Alpine join Red Bull and McLaren with new F1 sponsor

Alpine has announced a deal with sportswear giant Castore to become the official kit supplier – the third F1 team the company is partnered with.

Castore already has links to McLaren and Red Bull as part of an impressive sports portfolio that also includes former tennis star Andy Murray, the England Cricket teams, Rangers FC, the Irish National team, and rugby union side Harlequins.

The company is to supply trackside and factory team-wear from the coming season, with the pit crew to also be branded the “Castore pit crew” moving forwards.

The deal is a multi-year agreement, with Catore also providing clothing to the Alpine Academy and the sim racing arm of the team, which will run Pierre Gasly and Jack Doohan as its F1 race drivers. Alpine’s previous deal had been with Kappa.

“This partnership with Alpine is an incredibly exciting development for Castore,” said Castore CEO and co-founder Tom Beahon.

“Formula 1 is a huge growth sport globally, and a big focus area for Castore − we love that our offer in the space brings fans closer to the action.

“We are really looking forward to seeing Castore’s wings represented in a competitive environment with Alpine next season.”
