Joshua Durksen scooped the first victory of the F2 season in the Australian Grand Prix sprint in Melbourne.

From second on the reversed grid, Durksen nailed the start to leapfrog the pole-sitting reigning F3 champion Leonardo Fornaroli.

The Dutchman navigated multiple safety car periods, including for Max Esterson beaching himself at Turn 6 as Victor Martins, on feature pole, smashed himself out after colliding with the Turn 5 wall in the opening laps.

Red Bull junior Arvid Lindblad was 10th, whilst Sebastian Montoya, the son of Juan Pablo, was sixth as Williams F1 junior Luke Browning completed the podium.
